Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Deploy 1,384 Officers in Kano
1,384 operatives have been strategically deployed by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Kano State across churches and key locations to ensure a peaceful celebration during Good Friday and Easter Monday.
The Public Relations Officer of the command, SC Ibrahim Abdullahi, shared this information in a statement released on Friday.
To enhance security measures during and after the Easter festivities, the State Commandant of NSCDC Kano Command, Mohammed Falala, instructed the deployment of personnel from various department including the Operation Department, Critical National Assets Protection Department, Armed Squad, and Anti Vandalism Units, to support the divisional offices’ efforts.
The Federal Government granted public holidays on Friday, March 29, and Monday, April 1, 2024, for Christians in the country to observe Good Friday and Easter Monday.
