Arsenal Manager Arteta Rejects Napoli’s Osimhen in Search for New Striker
The upcoming transfer window will see Arsenal seeking a new striker, with manager Mikel Arteta opting not to pursue Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, as reported by The Athletic.
Arsenal is exploring various striking options for the next season.
Recent reports indicate that Arteta has dismissed the possibilities of signing Osimhen and Ivan Toney.
According to transfer pundit David Ornstein, “Players like Sesko and Gyökeres are being considered favorably.
“Ferguson is also in the mix, but Brighton’s asking price and his current season performance may make the deal less likely for now.
“It’s unlikely to be Osimhen or Toney. There are other potential choices as well.”
