Emergence of Meeting Details Between Elon Musk and Chinese Premier Li Qiang
During an impromptu meeting in Beijing, the Chinese Premier Li Qiang conveyed to Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, that the Chinese market warmly welcomes foreign-funded firms.
After the undisclosed meeting, the second-ranking official in China revealed that the vast Chinese market will maintain its openness towards foreign investments.
Li Qiang stated, “China remains committed to facilitating market expansion and enhancing service assurances.”
Expressing gratitude, Musk shared on X that he felt “privileged” to have met with Li Qiang.
Musk added, “Our acquaintance dates back many years, originating from the early days in Shanghai.”
The rendezvous between Musk and Li Qiang occurs amidst Chinese automakers showcasing their latest electric vehicle innovations at the Beijing Motor Show scheduled from April 25 to May 5.
