President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump are both scheduled to be on the campaign trail in New York on Thursday. Biden, a Democrat at 81 years old, will participate in a fundraising event alongside former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.

The campaign team has already announced a record-breaking collection of over $25 million, with late-night TV host Stephen Colbert slated to moderate a debate among the three Democratic leaders.

The fundraising event at Radio City Music Hall in midtown Manhattan will feature performances by artists like Lizzo and Queen Latifah in front of an audience of 5,000 people. This star-studded occasion, a first of its kind with three Democratic presidents, offers guests the opportunity to pay $100,000 for a photo with the trio, according to NBC News.

Jeffrey Katzenberg, the campaign’s chief fundraiser, emphasized the significance of the event, claiming that Biden will raise more money in one evening than Trump did in the entire month of February. Biden’s campaign has a stronger financial backing compared to his Republican opponent, who is utilizing some of the funds raised for legal expenses in ongoing lawsuits.

Meanwhile, Trump, with four criminal indictments pending, will attend the wake of fallen police officer Jonathan Diller, showing his support for law enforcement amidst his campaign focused on criticizing immigration policies and his opponent’s stance on policing.

Both Biden and Trump have expressed their appreciation for law enforcement, with differing approaches highlighted by their campaign activities. White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre reiterated Biden’s gratitude for police officers and their dedication to community safety.
