NLO Takes Action Against BIB FC Players and Coach for Assaulting Match Officials
Following an incident at Daura center, the Nationwide League One (NLO) has handed down severe punishments to four players of BIB FC due to their physical altercation with match officials.
During their match against Tudun Wada FC last weekend in Daura, the suspended players and coach displayed conduct that violated the NLO rules and regulations.
Expressing disapproval, NLO Chief Operating Officer Olushola Ogunowo condemned the unsportsmanlike behavior exhibited by the penalized players and coach.
The suspended individuals include Isa Yamani, Abdullahi Tukur, Yusuf Yakub, Musa Yakub, and coach Mike.
The Chairman of BIB FC has also received a warning to refrain from harassing NLO match officials to avoid breaching the league’s guidelines.
The suspended players and coach have been notified that they have the option to appeal the decision.
