Tinubu expresses optimism about Nigeria’s future despite challenges
On Friday, President Bola Tinubu shared his belief that Nigeria will emerge victorious over its challenges, drawing parallels to the triumph of life over death symbolized by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
He expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their sacrifices during the first 10 months of his administration and reiterated his dedication to leading the nation towards “recovery and sustainable growth.”
In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, the President extended Easter greetings to Christians, highlighting the significance of the occasion as a celebration of life prevailing over death.
Tinubu, as conveyed by Ngelale, stated, “I warmly greet Christians in Nigeria and worldwide during this period, underscoring love, sacrifice, and compassion as the central themes of this solemn season.”
He also emphasized the leadership lesson inherent in Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for humanity and called upon Nigerians to embrace selflessness, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to a united, peaceful, and prosperous nation.
Ngelale quoted Tinubu as commending Nigerians for their recent sacrifices in steering the nation towards recovery and sustainable growth, assuring them that the patience they have shown will soon bear fruit.
“The President wishes all Nigerians a Happy Easter,” the statement concluded.
