The stadium of Bay FC is fully booked ahead of Oshoala’s home debut in NWSL
As Asisat Oshoala prepares for her home debut with Bay FC in the National Women Soccer League, the PayPal Park in San Jose is already at full capacity with 18,000 fans eagerly anticipating the match.
This Sunday, Bay FC will be facing off against Houston Dash in what will be their first-ever home game in the NWSL.
Oshoala has been prominently featured as the poster girl in the pre-match promotional materials.
The official website of Bay FC announced, “Bay FC, the new women’s professional soccer franchise representing the Bay Area in the NWSL, will be hosting their inaugural home match at PayPal Park in San Jose on Saturday, March 30 (3am on Sunday in Nigeria). The game is already sold out.”
Having recently joined Bay FC from European champions Barcelona, the Nigerian international has made a strong impression in the United States, scoring in her debut match against Angels FC.
Last weekend, she also provided an assist in the team’s 2-1 defeat to Washington Spirit.
