Enugu CP Encourages Responsible Easter Celebrations and Reporting of Suspected Criminals
In a message issued for Easter, the Enugu State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Kanayo Uzuegbu, urged residents to celebrate the holiday with peace and love in the spirit of Jesus Christ’s example.
Residents were also encouraged to report any suspicious activities or individuals to the nearest police station during this festive period.
To ensure security, the commissioner has directed Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and Heads of Tactical and Operational Squads to utilize all available resources for intelligence and operations.
He emphasized the need for visible patrols and crime prevention efforts in their respective areas of responsibility.
As Christians worldwide celebrate Easter, marking the crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the commissioner congratulated the people of Enugu State and assured them of security measures in place.
