Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery Requires Basic Nursing Applicants to Apply Through JAMB
In order to secure admission into the Basic Nursing program, candidates must follow the application process set by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), as mandated by the management of Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery.
Dr. Gbonjubola Owolabi, the Provost of the College, conveyed this directive in a statement released to NewsNow.
Owned by the Oyo State Government, the college upholds high educational standards and ensures that admissions are granted solely on merit.
Following the announcement, Dr. Owolabi mentioned that Post UTME forms will be accessible at the college for applicants who have scored 200 and above, meeting the established cut-off mark.
An extension of four weeks has been granted for the sale of these forms beyond the initial deadline of March 20, 2024, to accommodate interested candidates.
The objective of this extension is to provide ample time for prospective students who are still considering applying.
The Provost emphasized, “Admission into the Basic Nursing program will now be processed through JAMB, without compromising our stringent admission standards, which are based on merit.”
Additionally, she noted, “Post UTME forms will be offered to those who have scored 200 and above, following the exam results release.”
The Basic Midwifery Form sales deadline has been adjusted to allow more applicants to apply, with a Computer-Based Test (CBT) scheduled for April 22-24 and interview sessions on May 2-3, 2024.
