Pep Guardiola Identifies Two Challenging Matches for Manchester City in EPL Title Race
In the aftermath of Manchester City’s 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest, manager Pep Guardiola acknowledged the upcoming away fixtures against Fulham and Tottenham as potential challenges for his team.
Despite the win, City remain one point behind league leaders Arsenal, with a game in hand.
Reflecting on the remaining games in the season, Guardiola emphasized the uncertainty in the title race, stating, “Anything is possible. Liverpool has recently dropped points, and similar outcomes could occur for us or Arsenal. Fulham and Spurs away matches will undoubtedly pose difficulties.”
Regarding the scheduling, Guardiola shared his preference for minimal downtime, expressing, “I would rather maintain a consistent rhythm and proceed to the Champions League semi-final without a lengthy break.”
He added, “Given the current circumstances, we have a brief window of two to three days to recover and gear up for the crucial matches ahead.”
