The renowned artist, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, asserts that the Nigerian music industry has constantly been in a state of unrest ever since he became a part of it.
Expressing his fondness for the chaos within the music industry, Davido mentioned that he thrives in such an environment.
In a recent post on his X platform, the singer expressed, “Since I entered the scene, there’s never been peace… I’m loving every moment of it! Let me find a serene beach spot to unwind.”
Previously, the head of DMW has accused some of his peers in the music sector of forming alliances against him.
“It’s me against the entire industry! Bring it on!,” he boldly stated via X in 2022.
Davido made his grand entry into the Nigerian music arena with the hit singles ‘Back When’ and ‘Dami Duro,’ which were part of his debut album, ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ (2012).
Since then, he has emerged as one of the top figures in the new Afrobeats generation, alongside Wizkid and Burna Boy.
In various interviews, Davido has disclosed that he maintains a strained relationship with Wizkid and Burna Boy.
