Babaganaru’s Praise for Akwa United Players Following Victory Over Kano Pillars
Praising his team’s positive approach, Akwa United’s head coach, Mohammed Babaganaru, commended his players for their performance in the recent win against Kano Pillars.
Recognizing the significance of the victory in their fight against relegation, Babaganaru expressed satisfaction with the outcome.
In the game, veteran forward Ubong Friday scored in both halves, with substitute Mubarak Said adding another goal to the tally.
Reflecting on the match in a post-game interview, he mentioned, “Securing this much-needed victory is a positive development.”
He further added, “After our defeat in the away game against Kwara, we regrouped and strategized on how to win this match. We are grateful that our plans came to fruition.”
Looking ahead, he emphasized, “With six more matches remaining in the season, we are aware of the significance of each game. We must continue our current efforts as the progress we are witnessing in the team is motivating.”
Currently positioned 16th on the table with 37 points from 32 games, Akwa United awaits the conclusion of the season with six more matches to play.
