Victory for Arsenal as they defeat Tottenham 3-2 in EPL match
Arsenal managed to secure a narrow 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the North London Derby, despite a late comeback attempt from their rivals.
The Gunners started strong, quickly securing a three-goal lead in the first half of the game.
The lead was initiated by Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s own goal, deflecting Bukayo Saka’s corner-kick into the net, giving the visitors an early advantage.
Saka then brilliantly finished a counter-attack, and Kai Havertz added a third goal to Arsenal’s tally.
Although Spurs fought back in the second half, with goals from Cristian Romero and Son Heung-Min, it was not enough to avoid defeat.
With 80 points and only three games remaining, Arsenal now leads the table, holding a four-point advantage over Manchester City, who have two games in hand.
