Ekiti Police Apprehends Teenage Twins and Two Others for Burglary and Conspiracy
Confirmation has been made by the Ekiti State Police Command regarding the apprehension of twins named Olasoji Kehinde and Olasoji Taiwo in the act of attempting a break-in at a shop located on Mathew Street, Odo-Ado, Ado-EKITI.
As stated in a release by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Sunday Abutu, the suspects admitted to committing the crime during questioning. They revealed that they were also behind the burglary of three shops at Fayemi Market in Agric Olope, Ado-Ekiti. On those occasions, they stole two bags of rice, two bags of beans, and other items valued at N936,750.00.
Subsequent investigations by the Command Rapid Response Squad (RRS) resulted in the arrest of Afolayan Funke and Nnaji Benignus Aroh, who the suspects identified as individuals who had been accepting stolen goods from them.
