Boboye: Lack of Direction was the Issue for Sunshine Stars
Before the appointment of the new Ondo State Commissioner of Sports, Saka Yusuf Ogunleye, Sunshine Stars technical adviser Kennedy Boboye pointed out that the team was lacking a clear direction that hindered their productivity.
Encouraging the club supporters to continue backing the team, the former Akwa United coach emphasized the importance of unwavering support.
Following the suspension of Mr. Tunde Ogunja as the General Manager of Sunshine Stars by Ogunleye upon his assumption of office, Boboye expressed his satisfaction, saying, “I’m happy you came and I’m impressed with what you’ve done in the past few weeks.”
Reflecting on the recent developments, Boboye added, “I’m glad we are getting a direction gradually because since my appointment what the team lacked was direction because no one gives productive directives, but now things are taking shape.”
Having geared up to face Shooting Stars in Ibadan on Sunday, Sunshine Stars are set for an action-packed match today.
