Ten Hag Reveals Insights into Rashford’s Underperformance

It has been noted by Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, that there are reasons behind Marcus Rashford’s struggle with form this season.

Ten Hag emphasized the need for the 26-year-old to take control and work towards getting back to his top form.

This season, Rashford has faced challenges, managing to score only eight goals across all competitions.

When questioned on the significant decline in Rashford’s performance from his 30-goal tally the previous season, the England international, Ten Hag shared his insights.

According to Ten Hag, “He and I understand the root causes. It’s a combination of self-improvement and team dynamics. Our attacking strategy has notably enhanced post-winter break, compared to its prior state.”

Reflecting on Rashford’s situation, Ten Hag explained, “The quality of team performance and Rashford’s individual efforts are intertwined, hence both aspects must be duly considered.”
