Excitement as Nasarawa United Coach Secures Super Eight Playoff Place
The head coach of Nasarawa United, Adams Usman, shares his delight at clinching a spot in the Nigeria National League Super Eight playoffs.
Securing their place in the season-ending tournament came after the Solid Miners played a 1-1 draw against Zamfara United last Saturday.
Despite finishing second in the Northern Conference Group A, trailing behind El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri, the Lafia club’s achievement was met with joy by Adams Usman.
Following the game, Adams Usman expressed his gratitude to the people of Nasarawa State, particularly acknowledging the support of Governor Engr. Abdullahi Sule, his Deputy Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, the Supporters’ Club, and the state’s residents.
Reflecting on their success, Usman declared, “I am ecstatic that we have secured a spot in the Super Eight Play-off. This victory is a result of a collective effort.”
Joining Nasarawa United in the Super Eight playoffs are Sokoto United, Sporting Supreme, and Madiba FC.
