Two more teams secure spots in NWFL Super Eight playoffs
Securing their places in the Nigeria Women Premier League Super Eight playoff are Edo Queens and Bayelsa Queens.
Edo Queens clinched their spot with a 1-1 draw against Delta Queens at the Stephen Keshi Stadium.
Despite a 2-1 loss to Robo Queens, Bayelsa Queens also earned their place in the season-ending tournament.
Finishing with 23 and 22 points respectively from 14 matches, Edo Queens secured the second spot, while Bayelsa Queens took the third position.
Rivers Angels topped Group B with 27 points, with Nasarawa Amazons, Heartland Queens, and Confluence Queens also qualifying from Group A.
These six teams will compete in the NWFL championship playoffs, vying to win the title of the 2024 NWFL champions.
