Allegations have surfaced against the Executive Secretary of the Kano State Science and Technical Board, Associate Professor Dahiru Sale Muhammad, regarding the unauthorized sale of more than 36 houses owned by the board.

It is claimed that Muhammad disposed of 36 government-owned properties located in Tiga Town, Bebeji Local Government Area of the state.

In response to these accusations, Muhammad refuted them, stating that there has been no sale of any houses by his office.

He clarified, “The sale of houses was carried out by a former Commissioner of Education during the tenure of Ganduje, and not under the current Abba Kabir Yusuf Government.”

Furthermore, the Executive Secretary was also accused of improperly transferring and replacing level 15 principals with individuals below level 12, purportedly his acquaintances.

Addressing this claim, Muhammad defended his actions by asserting that those removed from their roles were unqualified to lead technical colleges as they lacked the necessary qualifications in science and technical subjects.

He emphasized the importance of having qualified individuals in such positions to ensure the effective utilization of practical equipment in science and technical schools for optimal results.

Additionally, Muhammad highlighted that many science and technical lesson tools have been unused for over a decade since the Kwankwaso government procured them, underscoring the need for qualified personnel to maximize their potential.
