Kwara United Seeks Appeal against N6m Fine for Live Broadcast Interruption in NPFL
In response to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) imposing a fine on them, Kwara United has decided to file an appeal.
The Harmony Boys were penalized N6 million for disrupting the live broadcast of their match against Akwa United in the 31st round last weekend.
According to a statement provided to NewsNow, Kwara United confirmed their appeal of the fine.
Speaking on behalf of the club, Kwara United’s media officer, Jimoh Bashir, mentioned, “We have already submitted our appeal regarding the NPFL’s decision.”
He added, “We are now waiting for a response from the league governing body.”
Additionally, NewsNow has reported that Kwara United faces another charge for allegedly providing inaccurate information that led to a rescheduling of their match against Bayelsa United.
