EPL: Ten Hag reacts to Man Utd’s 4-2 win over Sheffield Utd as “unacceptable”
Following Manchester United’s 4-2 victory over Sheffield United on Wednesday night, manager Erik ten Hag expressed his dissatisfaction with his team’s performance.
The visitors initially took the lead through Jayden Bogle, which was equalized by Harry Maguire before halftime.
Ben Brereton Diaz then put the Blades back in front, but Bruno Fernandes turned the game around with two goals. Rasmus Hojlund added a late goal as United climbed to sixth in the table.
Ten Hag commented, “It was an entertaining game for the fans with four goals and numerous chances created.
“While we played quite well and generated many opportunities positively, there were also negatives. Conceding two goals from mistakes is unacceptable.
“Our aim is to play dynamic, attacking football, which we demonstrated tonight. Since winter, we have been consistently creating and converting chances,” Ten Hag told Sky Sports.
