In Lagos State, the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company, IKEDC, has disclosed the specific areas where residents enjoy more than 20 hours of uninterrupted power supply.

This development comes on the heels of the recent adjustment in electricity tariffs for consumers categorized under Band A by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC.

Under the new tariff structure, consumers in Band A will now be charged N225 per kilowatt per hour (KW/h), marking a significant increase from the previous rate of N66.

Band A customers are those who receive electricity supply for 20-24 hours daily, while Band B subscribers typically experience 16 to 20 hours of power supply.

Meanwhile, Band C customers usually have access to electricity for 12 to 16 hours each day.
