Lecture by Kukah at CLEEN Foundation Event

Scheduled for Friday, April 12, 2024, the memorial lecture of the late founder of the CLEEN Foundation, Innocent Chukwuma, in Abuja will be delivered by the Bishop of Sokoto Catholic Diocese, Matthew Kukah.

The Executive Director of the CLEEN Foundation, Gad Peter, made this announcement in a statement on Wednesday.

Under the theme ‘The Power of One: Dreams and Nightmares: Thoughts on Innocent Chukwuma,’ the lecture will commemorates the influence and legacy of Innocent Chukwuma, highlighting his persistent efforts in advancing social justice and good governance in the country.

The statement invites all advocates for a fair society and the enduring memory of the late Innocent Chukwuma to attend the lecture.

It further states that the lecture intends to inspire individuals to pursue their aspirations and improve their capacity to enhance their own lives and the lives of others.

The statement mentioned that Bishop Kukah will address the impact of one individual, Innocent Chukwuma, in making a difference, influencing his surroundings, and leaving a lasting legacy.

“The naming of this second lecture underlines the significance of individual action in shaping our shared future. The lecture series is a tribute to Innocent Chukwuma, the activist, scholar, and insightful leader who has made a lasting impression on our society. His relentless dedication to promoting social justice, good governance, gender equality, and empowerment of the marginalized continues to motivate generations,” as stated in the statement.
