Cash gifts, food items, and grants were provided to widows, vulnerable families, and indigent students by the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, FESTAC Mega Axis Headquarters in Lagos State.

Amidst the challenging economic situation in the country, the aim was to bring joy to widows, the needy, indigent students, and the less privileged.

The church awarded scholarships to 11 indigent secondary school students and distributed food items to approximately 1,000 individuals, both members and non-members.

Additionally, a four-day ICT and media workshop was organized by the church for ICT personnel, youths, teenagers, and other interested members across Festac Mega Axis.

The training covered various topics such as streaming church programs, photo editing for social media, live coverage of services, use of Vmix for video mixing, and digital evangelism strategies.

Pastor Irabor Enojiasun, the Mega Regional Overseer of MFM FESTAC Mega Axis, emphasized that these initiatives align with the vision of the General Overseer, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, to impact lives beyond religious affiliations and to win souls for Christ.

Over 30 widows received cash gifts of N15,000 each, while more than 358 individuals were provided with 3kg of rice, Indomie, and other food items. Additionally, 765 people received packed cooked meals, water, and beverages.

In response to increasing protests over high living costs and soaring food prices, governments at both state and federal levels have been implementing relief measures to alleviate the impact of economic hardships exacerbated by the removal of fuel subsidies.

The depreciation of the naira against the dollar has further raised challenges for many Nigerians as the prices of goods and services continue to escalate.
