Arsenal’s Arteta praises Emile Smith Rowe after 2-0 victory against Luton



Following their 2-0 win over Luton on Wednesday, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta specifically commended Emile Smith Rowe for his performance.

Smith Rowe played a crucial role in forcing a Daiki Hashioka own goal after Martin Odegaard opened the scoring at the Emirates.

The talented midfielder from England featured for 84 minutes before being substituted for Jorginho.

Arteta expressed his admiration for Smith Rowe, stating: “I was truly impressed with him. He has been excelling in training and we believed he would be effective in this game.”

“I’m incredibly pleased with all the players who stepped up. It’s a demanding month, and we are off to a good start after the international break, with Brighton next in line,” he added.
