Manchester City’s Premier League Title Race: Concerns Over Availability of Three Key Players for Arsenal Match
When Manchester City takes on Arsenal this weekend in the Premier League, they may have to do so without three crucial players.
Reports suggest that defenders Kyle Walker, John Stones, and Manuel Akanji are all doubtful for the upcoming crucial fixture.
According to the Daily Mail, Walker’s participation is in serious doubt after he sustained a hamstring injury while playing for England during the international break.
Having limped off during England’s 1-0 loss to Brazil, Walker is undergoing tests to assess the extent of his injury and determine his availability.
Similarly, Stones, who got injured in England’s 2-2 draw with Belgium, is also facing challenges in being fit for the Arsenal game, but is optimistic about a quick recovery, as reported by the Daily Star.
As for Akanji, his chances of featuring in the game remain uncertain as he returned early from international duty with Switzerland, missing their friendly against the Republic of Ireland due to a knock, as per The Sun.
