Access Holdings Sets Date for Unveiling Wigwe’s Replacement

Following the tragic chopper crash in California, United States, that claimed the lives of Herbert Wigwe, his wife, and son, Access Holdings has announced that the board will soon disclose the successor to the late Group Chief Executive Officer.

The Chairman of Access Holding, Abubakar Jimoh, revealed this in a statement signed by the company’s secretary, Sunday Ekwochi, while confirming the deaths of Wigwe, his wife, and his son in the unfortunate accident.

“In accordance with the company’s policy, an acting Group Chief Executive Officer will be appointed, and the board will make the announcement in the near future. We are confident that the Access Group will continue to build on Dr. Wigwe’s legacy of growth and operational excellence,” the statement emphasized.

The company expressed that Wigwe had been a driving force with a vibrant personality that influenced many.

Reports from NewsNow indicated that Wigwe, his wife, son, and Abimbola Ogunbanjo lost their lives in the chopper crash on Friday in the US.

Wigwe’s demise has led to tributes pouring in from various quarters, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
