The security adviser and state’s security outfits’ heads have been summoned by the Benue State House of Assembly. This summons was a result of a motion moved by Elias Audu and seconded by Kennedy Angbo. They expressed concern over the killings in the state and the influx of Fulani herdsmen with their cattle. Furthermore, the House urged Governor Hyacinth Alia to initiate the process of replacing the arrested Caretaker Chairman of Gboko Local Government Area, Mr Tervershima Agber, and choose a new chairman from the same Constituency as the arrested Agber.
