Tinubu reacts as APC chieftain Cairo Ojougboh dies during Nigeria

The passing of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Cairo Ojougboh, during the semi-finals clash between Nigeria and South Africa at the Africa Cup of Nations has been mourned by President Bola Tinubu. Ojougboh reportedly died during the Nigeria vs South Africa match, suffering a massive heart attack when South Africa scored a penalty. President Tinubu, through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, has condoled with the Ojougboh family, the government, and the people of Delta State over the loss. Ojougboh, a former Executive Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, once represented the Ika Federal Constituency of Delta State in the House of Representatives.
