Osinbajo wife condoles with Akeredolus family

Yemi Osinbajo, former Vice President, and his wife, Dolapo, have extended their condolences to the family of the late former Ondo State governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, who passed away on Wednesday. In a social media post, the ex-VP expressed his heartfelt sympathies to Her Excellency Betty Akeredolu, the children, family, friends, associates of HE Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, and the government and people of Ondo State. Osinbajo described Akeredolu as a brother and friend of over 40 years, highlighting his qualities of boldness, courage, fairness, kindness, and devotion to democracy, justice, and the rule of law. He also mentioned Akeredolu’s love for the people of Ondo State and his dedication to their security and economic progress. Akeredolu, aged 67, passed away while undergoing treatment for prostate cancer in a German hospital. Following his death, Lucky Aiyedatiwa was sworn in as the substantive governor of Ondo State.
