Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham names player who had biggest influence on his career

While accepting the prestigious Golden Boy award in Turin, Italy, Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham disclosed the player who had the most significant influence on his football career.

Bellingham expressed his gratitude to all the individuals who played a role in his journey towards success and specifically mentioned Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney as his biggest influence. Reflecting on Rooney’s impact, he stated, “I think Wayne Rooney was probably my biggest influence growing up, obviously being from England and the way he played, the way he fought, but there are so many other players that I have taken bits from.”

Additionally, he expressed his appreciation for the support he received from his family, emphasizing the immense role they played in his love for the game and his continued success.

Since joining Real Madrid from Dortmund this year, Bellingham has been making a remarkable impression. He has already netted 15 goals in various competitions, surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo’s record for the most goals scored by a player in their first 15 games at Los Blancos.

In a separate achievement, Manchester City’s Erling Haaland clinched the Golden Player Man award, triumphing over Lionel Messi for his outstanding contributions that propelled Pep Guardiola’s team to a treble victory last season.
