‘Not from us’ – FAAN speaks on ‘Ghana must go’ bags ban at Nigeria’s airports

The ban on “Ghana must go” bags at Nigeria’s airports was clarified by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to have been issued by Ethiopian Airlines rather than the Federal Government. FAAN addressed the circulating report on the ban through a brief post on Friday. The airport regulatory agency stated that the purported circular originated from Ethiopian Airlines, not FAAN or the Federal Government of Nigeria. Ethiopian Airlines had informed its customers about restrictions on the usage of “Ghana must go” bags in a circular, indicating that it is strictly prohibited to bring such bags unless they are adequately packed in a carton or hardcover rectangular container.
