You never rejected me, Davido’s late aide’s son hails singer on birthday

In a heartfelt birthday message to the Afrobeats star, Uthman highlighted the singer’s commitment to fulfilling a promise made to him after his father’s passing.

On his Instagram page, Uthman penned, “I am expressing this from the depths of my heart. Keeping a promise is one of life’s greatest challenges! You assured me of your assistance after I lost my father. You never turned me away. You displayed the love a father should have for his child.

“In every video of us, you always refer to me as ‘my son’. Father, my dad would be extremely grateful for everything you do for me! I cherish you deeply.

“There was a time when I felt shattered, but when we spoke, you not only resolved my problem but also provided comforting words, ‘My son, I hope you are doing well’. These words are truly genuine and beautiful.”

Obama DMW, whose real name is Habeeb Uthman, passed away on June 29, 2021.
