Ruling on SDP Candidate’s Appeal Against Fintiri’s Victory

Concurring with the tribunal’s decision, Justice Ugochukwu Ogaku of the Appeal Court noted that the appellants failed to substantiate their allegations of corrupt practices and non-compliance with the Electoral Act against INEC. Consequently, the appeal was deemed to be without merit with no basis for further consideration.
As a result, the Appeal Court upheld the Tribunal’s decision, affirming the dismissal of the petition and ruling that the parties involved should bear their respective costs.
