Edo Governor Race: Retired General Joins the Contest

A new contender has emerged in the race for the governorship of Edo State. Major General Charles Airhiavbere (retd.), a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress, officially announced his candidacy on Monday. He made the declaration during a gathering with the members of Oredo Ward 1 at his residence in Benin City, ahead of the upcoming gubernatorial elections in the state.
