Appeal for Return to Ancestral Homes by Displaced Nasarawa Indigenes

Ndazhaga also accused the Nasarawa government of doing nothing about their issue, highlighting the lack of concern shown by the state government and the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly. He emphasized the need for urgent intervention to end the prolonged exile and to facilitate the return of the Bassa people to their ancestral land, which has been their wish for over five years. The displaced natives face the painful reality of missing out on festivities while others celebrate in the comfort of their homes with their families and loved ones.
The president was urged to take drastic action to end the overdue exile and to address the plight of the displaced Bassa people.
