The PDP emphasized the need for the CJN to set up a high-powered panel to investigate the APC’s claims of having influence within the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. The party also called for an investigation into bribery allegations against the Plateau State Election Appeal Court Panel.
The PDP further expressed apprehension about the potential escalation of tensions in Plateau State and other parts of the country if the situation is not immediately addressed, stressing the importance of the judiciary as the last line of defense for democracy and political stability.
