New Chief of Police in Jigawa State Commences Duty and Requests Assistance

Abdullahi, a native of Kano Municipal Local Government Area, was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force as Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (C3/ 92) and received training at the Police Academy annexe in Kaduna from 1992 to 1993. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy Administration from Bayero University, Kano in 2005, and has held several positions within the police force in different states.
Prior to his recent appointment, Abdullahi served as the Commissioner of Police, Procurement Force Headquarters in Abuja.
The Jigawa State Police Command expresses confidence that with Abdullahi’s experience, strategic plans, and dedication to collaboration, the security situation in the state will significantly improve. The new Commissioner of Police seeks maximum cooperation, support, and collaboration with security agencies, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and other relevant stakeholders to combat crime within and outside the state.
