Mourinho wants Roma to sign Arsenal star in January

According to reports from the Italian publication Romagiallorossa, Mourinho’s side is looking to secure the services of either Kiwior or Tottenham’s Eric Dier in the January transfer window. Kiwior joined Arsenal from Italian club Spezia Calcio back in January for a fee of €25 million.

However, the 23-year-old has struggled for regular game time, as he is considered a backup to first-choice left centre-back Gabriel. Kiwior has made only four Premier League appearances for Mikel Artea’s side so far this season and has a total of 16 appearances across all competitions for the Gunners, scoring a goal and providing no assists.

The move for Kiwior comes as Roma looks to make a cost-effective signing, with Evan Ndicka set to be away at the Africa Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast in January.
