Minister makes commitment to finalize Port-Harcourt -Maiduguri rail project

This information was contained in a statement signed by the Special Assistant (Public Affairs) to the minister, Jamilu Ja’afaru, on Monday in Abuja, where the minister stated, “It is about the movement of goods, people, and opportunities. It is about connecting Nigeria and driving growth.”
Extending the benefits of the project to states, he highlighted how the Port Harcourt-Maiduguri rail line would boost commerce and trade in Rivers State, improve business linkages in Abia, stimulate agricultural productivity in Benue, and facilitate the movement of mineral resources in states like Nasarawa and Plateau.
