2026 WCQ: Zimbabwe deserved better result against Super Eagles – Nakamba

Under the guidance of Baltemar Brito, Zimbabwe took the lead through Walter Musona in the first half but missed several opportunities to secure a victory before Kelechi Iheanacho, a substitute for Nigeria, equalized for the visitors.
Nakamba emphasized that Zimbabwe was the better team throughout the game, acknowledging their missed chances and the need to continue fighting and believing in themselves. He also expressed gratitude for the support from their fans.
Zimbabwe’s upcoming match in the qualifiers is against Lesotho in June 2024.
