2024 WAFCONQ: Falcons coach invites Oshoala, Ajibade, others for Cape Verde clash

The upcoming 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Cape Verde has seen Super Falcons interim head coach, Justin Madugu, announcing his squad on Monday.

Among the notable players summoned are Asisat Oshoala from Barcelona Femeni, Rasheedat Ajibade, and goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie.

Dependable defenders, Oluwatosin Demehin and Osinachi Ohale, along with Toni Payne and Christy Ucheibe, have also been included in the squad.

The players have been directed to report to the team’s camp between November 25 and 27.

The fixture against Cape Verde will be played at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, on Thursday, November 30, with the reverse fixture taking place in Praia on Tuesday, December 5.

The victorious team will secure a spot at the 2024 WAFCON.
