Governor Seyi Makinde has emphasized that Oyo State stands as one of the safest states across the country.

This declaration was made during the 2023 Intra-Africa Trade Fair (IATF) that took place in Cairo, Egypt over the weekend.

Since his assumption of office in 2019, Makinde has been committed to steering a responsible and responsive government.

Besides security, Oyo State possesses notable advantages such as its expansive landmass and well-established road infrastructure.

The governor highlighted the substantial infrastructure development undertaken by his administration, which has effectively connected all regions within the state.

Addressing potential investors, Makinde urged them to consider Oyo State as a secure and conducive investment destination, as substantial efforts have been put into enhancing security across the state.

He reassured investors that the government operates with efficiency and promptness, drawing from his prior experience in the private sector.
