Gombe United Secures 1-0 Victory over Niger Tornadoes

Mohammed mentioned, “The match is a setback because if we had gotten a point, it would have been a plus. We came here with a plan but it didn’t work as planned.
“This means that we will go back home and plan our next home game and see how to secure our own three points.”
In contrast, Gombe United’s coach, Alhaji Kwairanga, described the victory as a significant achievement for his team.
He highlighted the importance of the gained points in their pursuit of success in the NPFL.
He said, “Getting maximum points against Niger Tornadoes is a big relief and the most important thing for us today in our effort to climb up on the league table.”
Kwairanga emphasized that the successful execution of their game plan resulted in the home win.
“Our game plan worked because we were looking for the three points and we got it. We are not motivated at all; we are seeking and pleading with the state government to come to our rescue so that we can do more,” he said.
