General Chris Ali, who was born on December 25, 1944, in Koton Karfe, Kogi State, joined the Nigerian Army on October 20, 1967, and served diligently in various capacities, including Staff, Instructional, and Command roles. Lagbaja offered prayers for the repose of Ali’s soul and extended his condolences to the late COAS’s family, friends, and colleagues, wishing them strength and solace during this difficult time.
