Similarly, in Ozubulu, a male suspect was arrested for issuing deadly threats to a businessman using two different phone lines. The suspect claimed to be an ESN Commander and demanded payment under the threat of death. Through meticulous investigation involving technology and human resources, the detectives were able to arrest the suspect and recover both phone lines. The individual is also set to face legal proceedings.
The statement further revealed that the state Commissioner of Police, Aderemi Adeoye, praised the diligence and effort of the DPOs involved in uncovering the identities of the suspects and making the arrests.
