BUA Cement Set to Launch Sokoto Plant in January

During a recent congratulatory message to Sokoto State Governor Ahmed Aliyu on his electoral success, the chairman expressed full support for the governor’s government and revealed that the company is working diligently to ensure the inauguration of the new plant by January 2024.
“Your Excellency, I was in Abuja yesterday where I had the opportunity to meet with Mr. President,” he stated.
“I personally informed him of our plans to launch our new plant, currently under construction in Sokoto, in January 2024.
“I also told him that the management would be honored to have him as a special guest for the plant’s launch in Sokoto.”
Rabiu highlighted that the BUA cement factory in Sokoto is the largest private business with the most employees in the entire Northwest region. He credited this achievement to the favorable business environment in the state.
“I must also mention, sir, that in addition to our social interventions, it is worth noting that Sokoto is the only place where residents can walk to the factory and purchase a bag of cement for only 3,500 naira.”
