Warning from Humanitarian Minister: Beware of Fake Registration Portal

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, has issued an alert to Nigerians regarding a portal created by unscrupulous individuals to deceive and defraud them.
In a statement released on Tuesday in Abuja, she clarified that the “FG Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation Trust Fund Registration Portal” is fake and is not affiliated with the ministry or any government agency.
She further emphasized that the fraudulent portal was designed solely to deceive innocent members of the public and should not be trusted.
Edu also made it clear that neither the ministry nor any government department or partner organization will ever create a portal for individuals to apply in order to access funds from the humanitarian and poverty alleviation trust fund.
Therefore, the general public is strongly advised to disregard any links circulating related to this fake portal, as they are mere attempts to deceive and defraud people.
