Udende’s Election Upheld by Court in Benue North East

The election of Emmanuel Udende of the All Progressives Congress has been upheld by the Court of Appeal in Abuja on Wednesday.
The decision of the election petition tribunal, which had previously nullified Udende’s election, was set aside by the court.
In a unanimous judgement, the three-man panel of justices concluded that the lower court had made an error in its verdict and thereby affirmed Udende’s election.
Further details will be provided soon.
