Tinubu’s Son and Others Barred from Attending FEC Meetings

During the opening of the most recent council meeting on Monday, Tinubu expressed his displeasure with certain individuals who had been attending the meetings without valid reasons.

In a video that has since gone viral, the President pointed out his son, who was seen sitting behind a cubicle during one of the council meetings.

Tinubu strongly denounced this action, stating that it was unacceptable.

“Last week, I noticed that people were sneaking in and out of this council, including my son, Seyi, who was sitting behind that cubicle there. That is not acceptable,” declared the President.

He proceeded to announce the names of individuals who were permitted to attend the meeting with his consent.

“I will inform you of those who are supposed to be here, with my consent. They are Hadiza Usman, the Special Adviser on Policy Coordination, Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, the Principal Private Secretary, and Damilotun Aderemi, the Private Secretary,” he stated.

Furthermore, Tinubu instructed the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, and the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Folashade Yemi-Esan, to take note of his directive.

Emphasizing his point, Tinubu made it clear that no one should have access to the FEC meetings without proper permission.
